      Carol Tea is one of the three main protagonists of Freedom Planet alongside Sash Lilac and Milla Basset. She is a wildcat who is Lilac's best friend and, alongside Milla, helps her in her valiant quest to save Avalice from the evil Lord Brevon.

     Sash Lilac, who is more commonly known as Lilac, is a half-water dragon of unknown origins, and believed to be the last of her kind. At a young age, she was raised and trained by the Red Scarves, an underground guild of thieves and assassins. There she met Carol, who, after a brief rivalry, became her best friend. With Spade, another member of the Red Scarves, they participated in martial arts tournaments to earn the prize money. However, in order to find her place in life, Lilac and Carol both left the Red Scarves to live independently. Since then, they've been living in a treehouse hidden deep in the forests of Dragon Valley.

Lord Arktivus Brevon is the main antagonist of the 2014 sci-fi-fantasy, 2-dimensional platform videogame Freedom Planet. He is an intergalactic warlord who crash-lands on the planet Avalice after an intense battle. His goal is to drain the life out of the planet in order to rebuild his spaceship and continue his dreams of galactic conquest.
